Ryan Hudman – Ryan Hudman is the Operations Manager and a shareholder of Gateway Adult Care that encompasses Gateway Living, Gateway Gardens, and McKenzie Living. Ryan is responsible for the overall daily operations of four different campuses, while working closely with Human Resources and site Administrators. Boren and raised in Eugene, Ryan can’t remember not being a Duck fan or going to the games with his family. Ryan lived in Bend for the last 13 years, but returned home to Eugene to follow in his father’s footsteps, Mike Hudman. While in Bend he served as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Bend. Through his experience he has become proficient in Emergency Services and Management, Public Safety, and a thorough understanding of the Hospital and Healthcare industry. Though he was gone he has always been a diehard Duck fan and season ticket holder for Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Softball. Ryan is a Lifetime Member of Oregon Club and has brought new and exciting ideas to the board as he was appointed in 2018.
Matt Huston – As a fourth generation Oregonian, born and raised in SW Portland, I couldn’t be happier to call myself a native. With that comes great pride in my beloved Ducks. I have numerous memories of me and my entire family driving down I5 to attend Duck football games. After graduating from La Salle High School I enrolled at the University of Portland. Following my second year (double majoring in Political Science and Communications) I worked as an intern for a sports promotions company. Our main events were major golf tournaments. The biggest of those being the 1996 US Amateur Championship. The tournament was Tiger Woods last amateur event before turning pro. It was also where he became the only player in history to win three straight US Amateur titles. I then moved down to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon and never left. Ever since I have been and continue to be extremely involved in this amazing community and the University. I have served of numerous boards and have been a part of many fundraising campaigns. A few examples would be the Riverbend Peace Health Birth Center, American Cancer Society, Kids First, Habitat for Humanity, OAHU, and Impact Club to just name a few. I even had the honor of being the on-air voice (Ozone) for the Oregon Duck’s women’s lacrosse team for 5 seasons. I am currently an Employee Benefits Consultant at Hagan Hamilton and have been in the in industry for over 12 years. My wife and I, whom I met while at U of O, have two amazing boys. I’m also an avid golfer and fly fisherman. I do my best to attend as many Duck sporting events as I can throughout the year. I have been accused of bleeding green and I take that as a great compliment. I look forward to serving on this amazing board and representing my fellow Duck fans for years to go. GO DUCKS!
